The HCP Providers manual says: "Age-related functional decline can be defined as a reduction in ability to perform activities of daily living (e.g., self-care activities) due to a decrease in physical and/or cognitive functioning associated with ageing." Page 76 9.8. So a Provider can make the decision that someone who needs a new wheelchair or other equipment does not qualify because they needed one before they turned 65 and therefore it is not "associated with ageing"? Surely that is a medical decision, not for a business to decide? Sounds like a nightmare to me. ST
